Jamaica's Chili

2 large cans whole tomatoes (drain one)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 white onion, diced
2 cans kidney beans
12 oz. cola
4 T cumin
4 T chili powder
1 t black pepper
1 t red pepper flakes

Mix all ingredients and cook on low heat 4-8 hours, stirring occasionally. Do not cover. If liquid reduces too much, add more cola.

Note: I serve over whole wheat pasta and top with sharp cheddar cheese.
